GEABP Hosts American Foreign Law Association

On November 15th Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe hosted approximately 30 attorneys from the American Foreign Law Association, who were in New York for a gathering of the association.  The AFLA’s primary purpose has been to promote the understanding and application of foreign, comparative and international law, to cooperate with other professional organizations involved in such fields and to support relevant legal research and writing.  GEABP Partner Martin Siegel presided at the meeting, which included an update on Brexit.  “Since our firm does a fair amount of cross-border financing and litigation” Siegel stated, “the lunch was an excellent opportunity to make new friends and to reconnect with those whom we’ve been working with for a while.”
