Preston Ricardo Quoted in Society for Human Resource Management’s HR Magazine

Recently, litigation partner S. Preston Ricardo was interviewed by HR Magazine about one of the legal areas in which he has expertise — occupational fraud by managers and employees, which, given current economic tensions, is particularly timely for employers across many industries. HR Magazine is the official publication of the Society for Human Resource Management (http://www.shrm.org). In the article, entitled “Fraud by Employees Is Common, Difficult to Detect,” Ricardo debunks some common myths about workplace fraud, explains to employers when and where it is most likely to happen, and suggests best practices for companies and employers on how to prepare and protect themselves.
