Michael Devorkin Quoted in Law360 and Reuters regarding Deflategate NFL Case Against Tom Brady

Michael Devorkin, a senior partner in GEAB&P’s Complex Business Fraud Litigation Group and a former federal prosecutor, was prominently quoted in two articles regarding the NFL and Tom Brady Deflategate case.

The case picked up from Minnesota to New York where U.S. District Judge Richard Berman ordered both sides to initiate settlement. In Law360 Devorkin stated, “Judges don’t want to be sitting there reviewing the substance of arbitration decisions, and are not going to second-guess the commissioner.”  He added, “This is going to be a very expedited process.”  Devorkin commented in Reuters that this may prove “very deferential to an arbitration award.”
