Michael Devorkin Featured in USA Today on the Prosecutor’s Strong Case Against Durst

Michael Devorkin, a senior partner in our Complex Business Fraud Litigation Group and a former federal prosecutor, was quoted in USA Today on evidence revealed in HBO’s documentary, “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst,” including a letter with suspiciously similar handwriting linking Durst to Susan Berman’s murder followed by voice recordings of Durst appearing to confess to three murders. Devorkin is quoted saying, “About the only way it could be better [for the prosecutors] is with a written confession.” Devorkin also noted, “He [Durst] has great lawyers, and they will have to try and find a way to explain all this. Was Durst confused? Was he kidding?”
